Half of a company is written down. Half of it was said.
What is written down
The ERP, the spreadsheets, the reports, the numbers at the end of the month. Every tool can read this half, and most stop there.
What was said
The call where the price was agreed, the mail that changed the plan, the meeting nobody wrote up. MeYou keeps this half too, in the words people used, with dates.
An answer that only knows the first half is a report. An answer that knows both is what the person who was in the room would have told you.
What it is asked
The questions nobody can answer from a report.
Not "show me the numbers". The things where the answer is in a mail from March and a call nobody wrote up.
"What did the supplier actually promise?"
The wording they used, the date they used it, and what changed about it since.
"Where did we leave this last time?"
The last three things said about it, in order, without anyone having to remember which thread they were in.
Every answer comes back with where it came from, so a person can open the file or the mail and check it.

Connectors for ERP systems and office suites are in progress; which ones come first depends on what the first departments run.
