FAQ

MeYou One, asked and answered.

The questions people ask about the one in their own pocket: how they reach it, what it will do on their behalf, and where it stops.

Talking to itday one

No. There is one button in the app and a number in your contacts. There is nothing to phrase correctly, no command to remember, no settings to get right before your first sentence. If you can hold a phone conversation, you can use it.

Three ways, all of them the same MeYou with the same memory: press the button in the app and talk, ring the number from any phone at all, or write to it on WhatsApp when talking is awkward. It also rings you, when there is something worth ringing about.

When it has something to say: the morning ahead, a meeting in ten minutes, an invitation sitting in your mail that never made it to your calendar, a reminder you asked for. It keeps to your rhythm and your quiet hours, and you can turn any of it off, or all of it, and still call it yourself whenever you like.

Doing things for youthe useful part

Yes. Say what you want done and it finds the number in your contacts, reads the plan back to you in your own words, and rings only when you have said yes. On the call it does the one thing, says goodbye, and then tells you how it went. Your memory stays shut for the length of it: the person on the other end hears the errand and nothing about you.

you ask on a call it reads the plan back to you your yes it calls memory shut it reports
nothing happens between your words and your yes

No. It will find the price, hold the table, fill the form and bring the job as far as the payment screen, and there it stops. Nothing is sent, ordered or paid for without your spoken yes, and the last touch is yours every time.

It tries again, up to three times, carrying what it learned from the failed attempt into the next one, and then it tells you plainly that it could not do it and what it got stuck on. It does not pretend the errand is done.

Your thingswhat it can reach

What you connect and nothing else: your mail, your calendar, your contacts, the weather, where you are. Each one is a door you open on its own and can close on its own. Until you open one, MeYou knows only what you have said to it.

It drafts and reads the draft back to you; it sends when you approve the words. The same rule as the phone calls: it can do the work, but the decision to send stays a thing you said out loud.

Turn on guest mode and the memory closes in both directions: it says nothing about you, and nothing said in front of it is kept. Turn it off again and your own conversation carries on where it was.

Yes, when you ask it to. It listens, says nothing at all, and writes the note at the end. On Android it keeps going with the app closed, so the phone can sit on the table face down.
