What people ask before the first call. These hold for all three products; each product has its own questions beside them.
A voice you talk to and a memory that is only yours. You call it, or it calls you, and it keeps what you said so the next conversation starts where the last one ended, instead of starting from nothing the way a chat window does.
An assistant answers the question in front of it and forgets you the moment the window closes. MeYou is a line you can ring, and a record that keeps every sentence with the date you said it. So the answer it gives in March can rest on something you mentioned in January, and you never have to explain yourself twice.
Nineteen. It answers in the language you are speaking, in a voice chosen for that language, and the memory does not care which language a thing was said in: tell it something in Turkish and ask about it in English, and it comes back.
Yes, physically. You get a database of your own, with its own credentials, its own backup and its own deletion, rather than rows in a shared table kept apart by a condition in a query. That matters more here than in ordinary software: in an AI product the query is written by a model, and one forgotten condition is all a shared store needs to leak.
No. Speech becomes text as you speak it and the audio is dropped; what stays is the sentence and its date, which is the part that is any use to you a month later. There is no archive of recordings to leak, subpoena or listen back to.
None of the three, and nobody sits behind the product reading conversations for quality either. What you pay for the service is the whole of the business, which is the only arrangement under which these four sentences can stay true. What it never does, and the legal detail.
All of it, in the app: every subject it has picked up and the sentences behind each one. Delete a memory and the record of it goes. Close the account and the whole database goes with it, backups included, on the schedule the privacy policy sets out. Because the store is yours alone, a deletion is a deletion rather than a row marked and hoped about.
